Our Story

A. L. Coffee Roasters is a Colombian family story, shaped by three cultures and brought together through our love for coffee. Founded in 2021 by Maria Hurtado and Andres Jaramillo, our journey began with a simple belief, that coffee is more than a drink, it is a way of bringing people together, sharing stories, and creating moments that matter.

Born in Colombia and raised in Spain, our family has called the UK home for more than 15 years. Each chapter of our journey has shaped who we are today, bringing together the warmth and passion of our Colombian roots, the culture and memories of our Spanish upbringing, and the life we have built here in the UK. Alongside Maria´s four daughterd - Belen Escudero, Michelle Buchelli, Jennifer Escudero, and Jesica Buchelli - A.L Coffee Roasters is truly a family endeavour, built on love, hard work, and a shared passion for exceptional coffee.
